There are some obvious problems that might come with doing a project like Wifey's World. You say that you and Hubby are not professional porn actors, and that you have never done any other sort of erotic performance for a living. So would you be embarrassed if family, coworkers, or friends were to see your site?

No. Most of our friends already know about the site, and are more surprised by the success of it, rather than the fact that we're actually doing it. We're monogamous, with no others in the room while filming is going on, so it's actually very private (in a surreal, post-Internet way). We're not "porn people" in real life, and live in a very upscale neighborhood in the Southwest in which we lead perfectly normal, humdrum lives. I suppose if we were some kind of wild swingers, and I was doing gang-bangs or something, I'd feel we had something to be embarrassed about to others. I feel no shame in what we do. On the contrary, I'm quite proud of the job we do on wifeysworld.com.

The site became our primary source of income years ago, and all co-workers are employees, so there is certainly no embarrassment in that regard. Some family members know, and while not exactly thrilled about our newfound vocation, they simply consider it a peculiar way of doing things and there is rarely any discussion about it.

Though most visitors to the site are probably perfectly sane, do you worry about the bad ones?

We were concerned about the possibility of wackos when we first started, back in late 1997, but have been pleasantly surprised by the fact that we've not had a single incident. It's actually very rare to even get a mean-spirited email. I think a lot of that is because the site is very positive and lighthearted (though very sexy). I don't think it brings out a cruelty factor that many of the porno sites seem to push.

That's an interesting point. Most porn sites, films, and magazines want you to "watch this bitch" taking it and "look at that slut" giving it. Do you think you draw a vastly different audience than those venues do? It seems to me that the person who would most enjoy seeing images of an actual husband and wife having playful, loving sex would be less inclined to go for the macho cliches common to "industry" material. And then a lot of "amateur" stuff, even if it's for real, leans heavily on exploitation. Take for instance the sites where men send in pictures of their wives, girlfriends, and exes without the subject ever knowing that day and night thousands of men will be masturbating to pictures of her.

I think we do draw a different crowd than the average porn site. We've gone into it with the idea that sex is healthy and fun, and that a woman can actually be into the sex as well, not just the object used to make a man climax. That might seem contradictory, as men buy into our site to get themselves off, but they're watching a woman that is always the sexual equal of her partner. I am never used. On the contrary, it is usually me that has the control--just ask Hubby. I've had a lot of email from people asking me if I feel violated or exploited because of the facial cumshots, and my answer has always been: No way, it is my sexual turn-on as well. Most men seem shocked that a woman might actually enjoy that or be turned on by the idea.

I'm horrified by the thought of men posting images of their unwary partners! My god, if they have no more respect for them than that, why in the hell would they stay married to them, or continue a relationship? Seems strange.

Well, I don't see anything in your pictures and clips that would suggest you're being exploited. You do seem to be enjoying yourself quite a bit. But I wonder whether you sometimes act a little: If you know you're not going to come, do you pretend because the camera is rolling?

And speaking of turn-ons, does being watched by thousands of men and women turn the two of you on? Is that why you started the site in the first place, or were you looking to start a business?

Believe me, there is never a time when I have problems climaxing. On the contrary, we usually have to be careful when I actually start using the vibrator on video, because if I haven't gotten off in a day or two I can actually reach an orgasm in as little as 20 seconds. If Hubby uses his tongue I can last longer, and it's a better build up. It's harder for me to come during intercourse, and we rarely film that. Some things even we keep to ourselves.

Without a doubt! I am (like a lot of people, I think) somewhat size...uhhh...oriented.
